เมื่อวานไปดูหนังมาครับ (สถานการณ์บีบบังคับ เพราะโดนอาจารย์สั่งให้วิเคราะห์หนังส่ง) ทีแรกว่าจะไม่เอามาเขียนแล้ว กลัวจะกลายเป็น blog movie review ไป แต่พี่ house (ไปดูด้วยกัน) ยุให้เขียน ก็เลยเอาซะหน่อยตามคำเรียกร้อง

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory เป็นหนังแฟนตาซีแนวสดใสแบบเด็กๆ ตามสไตล์ของโรอัล ดาห์ลซึ่งค่อนข้างจะหลุดโลกพอสมควรแต่เทียบกับ Alice in the Wonderland แล้วดูมีสาระกว่ากันเยอะ (ที่จริงอันนั้นมันก็มีสาระอะนะ แต่คงต้องใช้ความพยายามพอดูทีเดียวครับ) ถ้าใครไม่รู้จักอลิซ หรือสงสัยว่าอลิซมันหลุดโลกยังไงจะยกตัวอย่างให้ฟังว่ามันมีอยู่ฉากนึงที่อลิซเสียใจมากจึงร้องไห้ออกมา ปรากฏว่าน้ำตาของเธอมากเสียจนเธอเกือบต้องจมน้ำตาตัวเองตายเสียแล้ว - -" แค่นี้แหละครับ ไม่อยากเล่าตัวอย่างอื่นแล้วไม่งั้นผมคงเป็นบ้าไปก่อนแน่

โดยส่วนตัวแล้วผมชอบเรื่องแฟนตาซีหนักๆ อย่าง The Lord of The Rings ยังงั้นมากกว่า (แบบที่สมจริงมากๆ) แต่ก็ไม่ได้รังเกียจหนังเบาๆ เรื่องนี้ อาจเป็นเพราะฝีมือสุดยอดของทิม เบอร์ตั้น กับจอห์นนี่ เด็ปป์ด้วยก็เป็นได้ (โดยเฉพาะเด็ปป์นี่เล่นบทกวนอวัยวะเบื้องต่ำได้อารมณ์มากๆ) หนังมีเนื้อเรื่องหลักๆ เกี่ยวกับปริศนาของโรงงานช็อคโกแลตว็องก้าซึ่งผลิตขนมออกมาขายได้เรื่อยๆ ทั้งที่ไม่เคยมีคนเข้าออกจากโรงงานนั้นเลย ในขณะที่ทุกคนสงสัยว่ามันเป็นไปได้อย่างไรวิลลี่ ว็องก้าเจ้าของโรงงานช็อคโกแลตก็ซ่อนบัตรเชิญไว้ในช็อคโกแลต 5 ใบ ซึ่งแน่นอนว่าไม่มีใครรู้ว่าช็อคโกแลตกล่องใดจะมีบัตรดังกล่าว ผู้ที่ได้รับบัตรนั้นจะได้รับอนุญาตให้เยี่ยมชมโรงงานมหัศจรรย์ของเขา นอกจากนี้วิลลี่ยังกล่าวว่า 1 ใน 5 คนนี้จะได้รับของขวัญพิเศษสุดจากเขา ซึ่งการกระทำอันน่าฉงนนี้มีเบื้องหลังซึ่งวิลลี่เท่านั้นที่รู้

ฉากนี้เห็นทีแรกผมนึกถึง Hobbiton ผสมกับ Mario World ล่ะ :P

สำหรับพวกที่มีเลือดนักสัญลักษณ์วิทยาทั้งหลายถ้าได้ดูเรื่องนี้ลองมานั่งตีความให้ดีว่าบุคลิกตัวละครแต่ละตัวมันสื่อแทนอะไร การกระทำต่างๆ ในเรื่องมีความหมายอย่างไร คุณจะได้ข้อคิดกลับไปไม่น้อยเชียวนะแลงดอน

จุดที่ผมชอบที่สุดเกี่ยวกับหนังเรื่องนี้ก็คือเด็กดูได้ ผู้ใหญ่ดูดี เหมาะสำหรับทั้งการไปดูในครอบครัวหรือไปดูกับแฟน มีข้อคิดแทรกอยู่ในเรื่องซึ่งจะมองข้ามไปก็ได้ ดูแล้วไม่เครียดดี พูดอีกอย่างก็คือใครก็ดูได้ว่างั้นเหอะ แนะนำให้พวก peter - pan syndrome (เด็กไม่อยากโต แบบผมเป็นต้น) ทั้งหลาย เรื่องนี้พลาดไม่ได้ ส่วนพวกรับความคิกขุอาโนเนะไม่ได้เห็นจะเป็นข้อยกเว้นเดียวสำหรับหนังเรื่องนี้

PS หนังเรื่องนี้ถ้าฟังภาษาอังกฤษออกจะสนุกมากๆ เพราะมีมุขทางภาษาแทรกอยู่ในเรื่องด้วย
